About Dr. Tilmann Dittrich:
Dr Tilmann Dittrich, LL.M., has been a member of the Data, Digital & Governance practice group at SCHULTE RECHTSANWÄLTE since February 2026 and is admitted to practise as a solicitor.
Prior to joining SCHULTE RECHTSANWÄLTE, Dr Dittrich practised as a solicitor at a law firm specialising in white-collar crime, with a particular focus on IT and medical criminal law.
In addition to his legal practice, Dr Dittrich is a lecturer in medical law at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the cyberintelligence.institute. His advisory work focuses in particular on the intersection of data law, cybersecurity, NIS 2 compliance and regulatory resilience, as well as the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Drawing on his previous professional experience, Dr Dittrich advises emergency services organisations on a wide range of legal issues.
Biography:
Dr Tilmann Dittrich, born in 1990, studied law at the Universities of Tübingen and Freiburg im Breisgau, specialising in international civil procedure and insolvency law. He also completed an LL.M. in Medical Law at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. He subsequently completed his doctoral thesis under Prof. Dr Helmut Frister in Düsseldorf on the compliance challenges faced by aid organisations in the emergency medical services. He completed his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Krefeld, with placements including the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of North Rhine-Westphalia and a major international law firm specialising in healthcare.
