About Dr. Michael Dallmann:

Dr. Michael Dallmann specialises in German and European competition law, including antitrust fine proceedings, compliance training and internal investigations, merger control and distribution law. He is also responsible for all matters relating to the Competition Register.

He also practises in the field of trade mark law. He advises and represents national and international companies on all matters within his area of expertise. Mr Dallmann publishes regularly on antitrust and merger control issues. He served as a board member of the Kartellrechtsforum Frankfurt am Main e.V. for four years and is once again listed in the JUVE Handbook of Commercial Law Firms 2025/2026 as a “frequently recommended” lawyer for antitrust law. Furthermore, according to the annual survey by Handelsblatt and Best Lawyers, Mr Dallmann ranks among the best lawyers in the field of antitrust and competition law.

Biography:

Dr. Michael Dallmann, born in 1973, studied law at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg, the University of Lausanne and the Faculty of Law and Economics at the University of Bayreuth. Whilst studying law in Bayreuth, Mr Dallmann also completed supplementary training in economics for lawyers, specialising in competition law (“Business Lawyer (University of Bayreuth)”).

As part of his legal clerkship, he spent several months at the Federal Cartel Office during his elective placement. Following his doctorate at the University of Bayreuth, he completed a postgraduate programme (Master of Laws) at King’s College London, specialising in European law, in particular European competition law. He has been admitted to the bar since 2003. Michael Dallmann initially spent several years working as a solicitor at major international law firms (including several months in London) in the areas of merger control, German and European competition law, and distribution law. In 2008, he joined SCHULTE LAWYERS. and has been a partner at the firm since 2011.
