About Markus Söding:

Markus Söding practises within our firm’s employment law and data protection departments. In the field of employment law, he advises companies operating both nationally and internationally on all aspects of individual and collective employment law, including related areas such as social security law and employee data protection. For example, Markus Söding provides employment law support on matters relating to works council law as well as in labour court proceedings. He writes e-learning modules on current developments in employment law and on the fundamentals of individual and collective employment law. A key focus of his data protection law practice is advising on compliance issues (legal safeguards for data transfers, risk analysis, etc.) and the use of employee data (including the review of company data deletion policies). Markus Söding regularly drafts the necessary contracts and documents in accordance with data protection regulations (joint controller agreement, controller-to-controller agreement, data processing agreement, privacy policy, etc.).

Biography:

Markus Söding, born in 1988, studied law at the University of Freiburg, the University of Pisa and the University of Münster. After passing his first state examination, he worked in the legal department of an international company in Berlin. Markus Söding subsequently completed his legal training in the district of the Berlin Court of Appeal, with placements at a medium-sized commercial law firm and in the legal department of a welfare organisation. After passing his second state examination, he worked in the litigation department of a medium-sized law firm. Markus Söding has been part of the employment law team at SCHULTE LAWYERS. since July 2019.
